Plot
Family Macahan's is the story of the white man's conquest of the American West, which we follow through family Macahan valiant struggle for survival. It is the story of mountain men who went west to explore the world beyond the next river bend, the fur trappers who nearly extinct buffalo herds, the gold graves searching for El Dorado, about peasants who became wealthy landowners and the simple people who were on the run. There is also a story about the American Indians. Brave and fearless, but hopelessly outnumbered, these primitive people were the ultimate losers in the battle for land in the west.

1 THE MACAHAN'S
Zeb Macahan return to the family farm to take the family to Oregon. The civil war is about to start and family want to travel west to Oregon to their sons should not be summoned. Uncle Zeb agrees to lead the family on the perilous journey, but civil war may be more important for the family than they ever could have imagined.

As the white drag across the West will also increase tensions with the Indians. Zeb Macahan Colonel Caine leads to an Arapaho village, in the belief that Caine should negotiate with the Indians. When Caine explains that the soldiers will attack the village Zeb doing what he can to prevent the massacre.

Luke is forced to leave since he is wanted for being a deserter. Zeb wants to keep moving to Oregon together with Kate and the children. Kate wants different despite the fact that their farm is right between two rivaling native american tribes.

Luke would like to stay with Erika but fate forces him once again on the run. Suddenly Erika again. Zeb helps an old friend, whose son is kidnapped by Indians. Price Hunter Grey eagerly await that Luke and Zeb will return to the ranch.
