Episodes 19-22
Kyo returns to his mentor, Muramasa, to learn the ultimate Satsujin sword forms. Instead he finds himself confronted by Shinrei, a powerful assassin from the Mibu Clan. Elsewhere, Akira has hidden away Kyo's body and resolves to protect it with his powerful ice swordsmanship technique. Hotaru, a member of the Mibu Clan and another former pupil of Kyo's, tracks down Akira and confronts him. He is a chaotic and dangerous swordsman whose blade brings fire down from the sky. Both he and Akira want possession of Kyo's body, and both want to be the one to kill Kyo. The stage is set for a showdown between fire and ice. |
