Plot
Jeff (Chow Yun Fat) a.k.a. Mickey Mouse, an unusually sympathetic assassin, takes on one last job, hoping to make enough money to retire and fund a sight-restoring operation for his girlfriend, Jenny (Sally Yeh), a beautiful lounge singer he accidentally blinded during a previous hit. Betrayed by his mob employers and seeking revenge, Jeff reluctantly teams up with the cop assigned to bringing him in, Inspector Li (Danny Lee) a.k.a. Dumbo, who discovers he has a grudging respect for and empathy with the killer. Together, this unlikely pair confronts the ruthless gang of Triad mobsters in a series of bloody showdowns leading to a mind-blowing finale.
