Food Tech episodes are all theme based. Pancakes and Sausage were one episode, another was Mexican. They start with a plateful of food, and show you how each and every thing on that plate were made/grown/cooked/caught. It is a fascinating format. The host, Bobby Bognar is not a smarmy know-it-all. In fact, he goes into the factories and fields just as uninformed and curious as the viewer. It makes for a genuine and often humorous television show.
