A seemingly naive and young twelve year old French girl named Anais Pingot (Anaïs Reboux) is fat and lonely. Whereas her elder sister, Elena Pingot (Roxane Mesquida) is a slender teenage beauty. While the two sisters are on a vacation with their parents, both Anais and Elena explore the dull and boring seaside town. The flirtatious Elena befriends a young Fernando (Libero De Rienzo) at a cafe who happens to be an Italian law student. He then tries to seduce her by offering her promises of love once they consummate his growing lust. Anais desires to get the same attention as what Elena gets from Fernando whose only wish is to get Elena in bed with him. However, nothing really prepares the two sisters when an unforeseen tragic happens in the Pingot family.
